Team
Over the past 15 plus years, Softusvista has grown deliberately and sustainably into a product-first organization
employing 100 plus full-time employees and engaging with 250 plus specialist consultants. End-to-end, in-house product
development—no outsourcing, no consulting, no services. We have delivered 40+ websites spanning multiple
domains, regions, and languages. Read our Product Launch Timeline for more.
We research, design, build, test, deploy, and maintain everything
under one roof across product, UX, engineering, content, QA, data, and release ops, ensuring tight feedback loops,
secure IP, consistent quality, and true ownership from idea to long-term maintenance.
Guided by Experience: Engineering, Technology, Business
We blends product-first engineering with global business execution:
- Founder and CEO: Swapneel Shah
brings cross-continent team-building and delivery rigor.
- Technology Advisor: Pravin Saindane
, contributes with Microsoft-stack architecture experience.
- Business Advisor: Piyus Kanungo
, contributes in Finance and Business Development.
Together they anchor our zero-outsourcing, fully in-house culture
focused on quality, reliability, and long-term stewardship.
How we build our team?
We began with focused recruitment drives through reputed job portals such as Naukri
and Monster. Very quickly we learned that in an Indian market largely oriented
toward services, finding product-oriented talent demanded a different approach.
We therefore pivoted to recruiting highly trained
candidates from CDAC, prioritizing engineers who were prepared to own problems end-to-end.
Most of our software engineering backbone originates from CDAC Pune
and CDAC Mumbai through the National Level Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP).
Securing Day 1 and Week 1 slots gave us early access to exceptional candidates who now anchor our engineering culture.
From time to time, we complement this pipeline with selective lateral hires to bring in senior, battle-tested expertise where it matters most.
Domain experts and consultant network
We engage domain experts as consultants via Internshala, which gives us direct access
to specialized student talent and early-career professionals from premier institutions across India.
Through our Internshala openings, we have
collaborated with talent from several IITs (Madras, Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Guwahati, ISM Dhanbad, BHU Varanasi, Mandi, Patna),
IIITs (IIITDM Jabalpur, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Guwahati), and NITs (Surathkal, Warangal, Tiruchirappalli, Hamirpur, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Srinagar,
Allahabad, Jaipur, Surat, Manipur, Agartala, Meghalaya, Durgapur), as well as other NIRF-ranked universities such as BITS Pilani, VIT Vellore,
Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, COEP Pune, PSG College of Technology, Osmania University, SGSITS Indore,
Walchand College of Engineering, RV College of Engineering, and BMS College of Engineering.
This breadth keeps our products grounded in
real-world subject matter and strengthens our internal review bench across engineering, mathematics, finance, sciences, and education.
How we work (process and quality)
- Structured onboarding and bootcamps that align each hire to our product principles, coding standards, and review practices.
- Peer review as a first-class habit: code reviews, content reviews, and domain checks before anything reaches production.
- Observability and reliability: dashboards, runbooks, and post-release audits to ensure measurable outcomes rather than vanity shipping.
- Documentation culture: architecture notes, change logs, and contributor credits that make our work verifiable and maintainable.
Roles that shape our products
- Product and program managers who frame the user problem and measure outcomes.
- Backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers who build on a robust Microsoft stack foundation and modern web practices.
- Data and QA specialists who test assumptions, validate edge cases, and benchmark performance on real devices and networks.
- Domain consultants and reviewers who ensure subject-matter accuracy and classroom-ready clarity.
